Putting thoughts out there

Reading the Bible the way we are has some interesting results.  I really like how the last few days some of the feasts and offerings being explained and implemented in Numbers are being continued and Jesus participating in them in Luke.

I also really enjoyed todays Psalm.  I loved the repetition.  It is one that feels more like a song rather than a poem.

He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken.
        Psalm 62:2 (also verse 6)

End of the Year

It is December 31 again.  Tomorrow is a new year!  May 2011 be a blessed year for all of you.  What fun traditions do you gals do?  Any black-eyed peas or collards?  Family game days?

We are going to be cleaning up our house from the craziness with which 2010 has ended.

For anyone who wants to join in reading the bible in a year, here is the suggested reading schedule for the weekend-
    January 1-Gen 1:1-2:25; Matt 1:1-2:12; Psalm 1:1-6; Proverbs 1:1-6
    January 2-Gen 3:1-4:26; Matt 2:13-3:6; Psalm 2:1-12; Proverbs 1:7-9
    January 3-Gen 5:1-7:24; Matt 3:7-4:11; Psalm 3:1-8; Proverbs 1:10-19

God Bless!!!
